Letters From Home....

I get emails often from our puppy families, so I thought that I'd share them....I have photos posted under the link "Our puppies growing up"

Hi sweetie. Binks had an amazing first night! She cried when I put her in her crate for about the first five minutes then calm down. I think having 3 of her brothers there provided comfort to her. She was completely dry last night and went to the bathroom outside. She is so sweet and every gets along well. Bottega is trying to figure out where She came from. Yesterday she saw 3 puppies and by night time there were 4. Bottega was very motherly, following her around, sniffing her, licking her...it was cute and surprising because bobo is still such a baby herself.
I just put them all away because they played and ate. I rest them for 1 hr after they eat. When I get them out I will take more pictures for you.

I want to thank you and Rusty for adding such amazing joy into out lives with your babies. My house is filled with sounds of children and dogs and I love it! You and rusty have handled these babies a lot and spent a lot of time caring for them. That's evident by the fact that they are so sweet, mellow, loving, social babies. They are social on every level and an amazing line. You guys strive for perfection and that's exactly what you produce. I am so happy that rusty was home this time with you. Not only would I never own another breed other than a great Dane, but I wouldn't get my babies from anyone but you.

All 6 of my blue babies are all individually the sweetest munchkins. It's like what you said about this litter--I couldn't say one negative word about any of them. Great Danes are so much fun to live with. Your tagline is accurate...Danes are like potato chips...you can't just stop at one! I am perfect example. Lol!!!

After they all go to bootcamp, which is soon, then I will have pictures taken of the entire clan!! At least then I know they will listen to me and sit. Now they do but also get so excited they bounce all around. Lol!

How was Bixby last night? Sad? Would you consider keeping her? Didn't Rusty want to keep her? I don't know what her personality is like but you know me so well! Binks personality fits into this house so well. She is a complete joy!

They all sound like they would be a great fit personality wise. Either one. All my dogs are mellow. The Danes do love their exercise so can get playful...that's all the fun.

I know this entire litter is amazing! If I could take all of them I would. And I am not kidding. I have always loves dogs, but you are right, one you live with Danes no other breed compares! They are the most wonderful, gentle giants! Full of love. And Shanda, that does have a lot to do with you and your husband. You are very involves and very hands on. That's why they are so lovable and social!

Shanda,
Blossom had an amazing 1st night with us. She ate pretty good for us, being her 1st night here, almost 3/4 of a cup of food. She hasn't had any real accidents in the house, has let us know when she needed to go out. She slept great in her crate, woke me up this morning to go out. She is all I ever dreamed of in a Dane and so much more. Are there any restrictions or requirements on her registered name? I have 2 in mind. I either want to name her Rolling Hills Blu Blossom Dream, or Bella's Blu Blossom Dream. I wanted to recognize where she came from and my dream of always having her. Just wanted to let you know how her night went and to check your thoughts on her name. Thanks Again, she is truly wonderful!!

Hi Shanda!

I just wanted to tell you how much we already love Boone! He is so precious and amazing!!!! He rode the entire way back in Andy's lap, and when we got home, he played for about an hour then passed out on the couch with us like it was what he had done every night…lol ;~) He slept most the night, and started playing first thing this morning…following me around while we were getting ready for work. Andy went to take our daughter to daycare this morning, and Boone went with them…..Andy called and said he turned around to look and see what they were doing in the back…… Boone had his head laid up on Maddi’s car seat, and she was just rubbing his head ;~) ;~)

I will be sending pictures as we take some of him growing up….I hope you know… you couldn’t have found a better home for him!!!!

Thank you again!

Hi Shanda

It's nice to hear from you. We are LOVING our Samson! He's a big baby
:-) He sleeps with us every night --, just a normal thing now
-- as he has won the "battle." He travels with us a lot and is the unofficial mascot for
our varsity soccer team.

Just an update. I hope all is well with you.

Hello there! I just sent you a picture of my newest additions. It isn't a great picture of Fancy Face (that's what I call Phantom) but they are so cute together. I got two French buldogs who are 3 months old. I now have 5 dogs and I have to tell you they all get along so well. The babies are doing so well. They are sweet loving gentle giants. Bobo is still the most affectionate and loves to snuggle on my lap. She doesn't realize she can't fit but she tries! Fancy Face only has eyes for me and everyone else he ignores. He follows me everywhere. I still take them everywhere with me--I say "let's go bye bye in the car" and they run to the car to get in. Everyone who meets them loves them! They are so social and love other animals. I must say that when a stranger comes to the house they are very alert and place themselves between me and the stranger. Bobo is still very verbal. When she wants something she barks to get it. Fancy Face still dislikes the water. Bath time is funny! Bobo likes to stick her feet in my pool when we are in there. How are the kids? How is your husband? I always track your website and saw the beautiful puppies. I am waiting for Bella to have puppies so I can add a new addition. The Danes by far are my favorite breed. I will send you recent pictures of the babies.
I miss talking to you! Keep in touch.

Hi Shanda,
Corrie and I wanted to let you know that Quigley is doing really well. He has been the perfect dog so far and nothing but complements from everyone when we are walking him around in the parks. He is now 21" tall and weighs 42 lbs. Eats like a bird, but grows like a weed.

Hope all is well,

Hi Shanda!

Diesel is doing well. We have puppy class graduation this Wednesday; He's
doing great with his basic commands. He does well around the chickens,
although his tail sends them squawking sometimes...lol. It's fine by me if
you give my email address to Diesel's littermate's people.

Shanda,

Well everything is great and the Vet wanted to keep him all day to show him off. She praised your breeding and was very impressed with the folder you prepare for your clients. She was also impressed that you had the linage included in the packet. Ok so now to Tye, he is a healthy 24lb little boy. She said his heart and lungs sound great and he is very, very healthy. He was given his first heart worm pill and we are going back in two weeks to get his third booster shot. He has now picked up shake for the most part and him and Tig are now finally starting to get comfortable with each other. Somehow he tricked me into sleeping in the bed last night. All and all I am very pleased and he seems very happy to be in my home. Thank you once again so much and I greatly appreciate all of your help. I am going to hopefully get a photo bucket of him so you can see his progress as he grows up.

Sincerely from the bottom of my heart,

Hi Shanda! I just wanted to let you know that we named her Daphne. She is doing great! I have attached a couple of pictures of her. These were taken a couple of weeks ago. I will send more soon. Thanks. Everyone is doing great! She cried the first couple of nights but now our standard poodle's crate is next to hers and she is doing fine.
